Adoption Ceremonies
Adopting a child is a big decision that brings radical changes to our lives. It is very affirming for adoptive parents and their adopted child to create a ceremony to welcome the child into the family and wider community. Many adopted children have previously gone through a difficult time and would welcome hearing their new family make commitments to them to support and love them on their life’s journey.
